Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant in York

The whole family got sick. Food tasted old. Salsa was tasteless. Being a huge fan of “street tacos” these were the worst I’ve ever had. Avoid this place. There are better places.

The table side guacamole is awesome. Staff is nice, visits table regularly, but not too much. Food is hot and tasty, reasonably priced. Atmosphere is fun and colorful.

Just ordered food and it was suppose to have cheese sauce and it’s covered in red.

My favorite authentic Mexican restaurant! They are slow, even on non-busy nights, however, the food is so worth it! The atmosphere is totally over the top, but you can find something different every time you come!

Food and service were great! Beef Fajitas, guacamole made tableside, and great salsa and chips.

Worth the trip for the tableside guacamole! By far the best I have ever had. Prices were good and portions were very large! Everything we ate was very good. We will come back again.

Had to wait to get seated, received guac before our waiter ever came around with chips and water, food was bland, never once was asked for refills, and sat and waited for the check despite being done for a while. The only good thing was the food was cheap.

This is a great place to practice your Spanish. The food is good. Beer is cold and prices are not overly expensive. The place is clean and staff is friendly.

Food was pretty good, waitstaff was attentive. asked for a to-go drink and they made me pay $2.50 for a TINY CUP, even though I was drinking the same beverage with my meal. What a rip-off. Don’t ask for to-go drinks because they can’t afford the $0.20 it takes to give you one! Good thing I’m on a business trip and won’t be back in the area.

The steak was over cooked. One side of the sweet potato was burned and black. The service was also quite slow.I don’t recommend this place.

Restaurant is clean and staff friendly. Food choices and prices are good. Social distance seating is maintained. Will visit again. Ample parking available.

I went there with friends and none of us like the food. The takes of the cheese that they use is horrible. The rice and the beans was tasteless. We also ordered the freshly made guacamole was good but it has a little bit too much lime. We left the plates full of the food and no one even ask if everything was okay. The staff was friendly. The place was clean.

Ate here for the first time today to celebrate my son's birthday. I canny say enough good things about the food and the staff. I would absolutely recommend!!

Great food great prices. Everything was fresh! Guacamole is made at your table at a great price. The restaurant is very clean and they wash the menus!

Their recent food inspection posted in the local paper was kind of gross. Food was great when I dined there but that recent food inspection report was scary. Apparently they have a serious vermin issue in their kitchen. Yuck.

Hands down the best mexican restaurant I've EVER been to. Delicious food, great staff, affordable price! No complaints on my end and my boyfriend loved it!!! The best part was the guacamole which was made right by our table side😍

Sitting here at the bar for 5 minutes. So. Just being patient. As I stand to put on my jacket, someone finally walks behind the bar. "Have you been helped", she asks. Then addresses a male person in the dining area. Hey, first time here, would love to try the cuisine. Yet if I am the ONLY person in the bar area and no one noticed. Just wondering how long I'd have to wait after placing an order. I give this a 1 star on service. MAYBE the food is great. I'll head over to a mexican restaurant closer to my home.

It was great. I got steak and chicken with shrimp and peppers. Also had fajitas. I cant wait for them to open open.

I ordered from Guadalajara on Grubhub. The order was ready for pickup by the driver incredibly quickly and the food was DELICIOUS! Will definitely be ordering from them again!

We came in at the last hour of the resturaunt being open on a Wednesday, and the staff was fantastic. Attentive, friendly, they gave you the feel that they were happy we were there. Most places in the last hour of service are not so on par. The food was delicious as always. There were a few signs that the kitchen staff were probably ready to leave, since the plating was a bit sloppy, but still a nice meal.

If you really want authentic Mexican food come here. They treat you good and feed you good and leave you with alot of left overs to take home. The best part is the chips and salsa and the guacamole they make for you with any toppings you want on it.

Not really good at all. Carnitas were so fatty, pale and squishy. Margarita was barely cold and tasted like just sour lemonade.

The Food was delicious, I recommend the fresh guacamole. The bad thing was the service we had, was terrible we had to look for the waitress like 4 times because we couldn't find her, plus they add the Tip to the bill with the amount they want, I think You should choose what You want to Tip not what they think.

Can I just say freshly done at your table, GUACAMOLE!!! Excellent!! Portions of authentic Mexican cuisine well n prices are fair.Had a great meal with Steve Corbett, Michael n Beth n Killian, before the corn maize quest.

Food was great. Atmosphere was pretty awesome, definitely sharing some beautiful art and scenes from Mexican culture. It was a Sunday night, close to closing. Service was slow, waited 45 minutes to be seated and order our food. If the service was faster they'd get 5 stars bc when we actually came in contact with personnel they were very courteous.

Fresh guacamole, made fresh at your table. well worth every penny for dinner. Fresh, authentic food, prompt service, and the best margaritas!!

We had high hopes for this place after seeing such a high rating but don’t be fooled. The restaurant is beautiful inside but the food is just ok and the service wasn’t the best. Don’t think I’ll eat here again.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place! I absolutely loved every minute of our lunch here. And the tableside guacamole was a super special touch too! I can't wait to go back.

Waiter didn't know/understand questions with menu items. Three people in our party of eight were brought wrong items after pointing and ordering by number. When right food did come out, it was bland. Once we ordered we did not see him again, until he brought check which we had to ask for from another server. I would not recommend and probably will not give them another try.

The food was excellent, but they waited til we had finished our meals to tell us that their credit card system was down, and I had only enough cash to cover a tip, making for a very uncomfortable moment. This ruined the whole experience. My lunch "date" had to pay the tab.

Placed an order over the phone for take out and a kid took the order not understanding what I was saying. I repeated myself about 5 times making sure he understands. Picked it up, I asked for a receipt and couldn't get one because I paid cash..I was missing a order, and the 2 other orders was messed up. My father in law is allergic to shrimp and he had found some in his fajitas! I will not order take out again from them.

Fantastic tableside guacamole. Love the decor! Food was okay. Wish more of the food was truly made from scratch. Really disappointed with the refried beans and enchiladas.

We will never go to Restaurant After one lady that works there decided taking photos or filming us! I knew most of time she had phone in her hand! If you working put your phone away! but she decided taking photos of us! Because We Stand Out!! I Went back in and told one of works what she did!!. They fella said I will tell my Manager about what she did!!.. Later on in evening I decided to call Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant. I asked for manager. So manager get on phone and I told did fella came to you about what happen in afternoon about lady that works in Restaurant that taking photos or filming us. She told me nobody said a word to me!!

Guacamole is made to your liking, right at your table! Great Mexican food and the decor is colorful and fun. They also put out a very nice buffet for private gatherings. The steak frittatas are delicious, as are the Margaritas. I recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner. It's a good place to get together with a couple friends or out on a date. The atmosphere is family friendly and the service is attentive. Small groups would also find this restaurant to be a great place to gather for lunch or dinner.

This is the best Mexican restaurant around! Most thing home made. Big servings. Very fair prices. CLEAN And very friendly, fast service. If you like Mexican, this is the place to go! Highly recommend!! (Pic is my leftovers....Los Amigos dinner)

Best Mexican food in York hands down. Fresh handmade guac and portions are huge. What more could you want?

If you like guacamole you are going to love this place!! They make it to order, table side, yes table side. How cool, and comes with, still warm, fresh made chips, enough for two. (or more if ordering full meals) The rest of their food is good to with average size portions and price. Service is quick so this makes a great lunch spot.
